Hi, I'm Andrea. I originate from the rural south where people tend to look for the good that already exists. That's how I approach content creation. It's all a matter of perspective.
Like the perspective found after quitting my job as a researcher for the Federal Reserve Bank to work on a documentary about a serial killer. There I rediscovered my love for story by assisting and advocating for the voices of the surviving women. Interest in story and promotion, originating from a childhood desire to become a literary agent, was further strengthened in the creative services department of a television station.
There, a talent for copywriting meshed with my understanding of the impact of budgets in production environments. Placement as a second-rounder in Austin Film Festival anchored continued development in screenwriting and content creation.
Working as a production director fortified my love for the organized chaos of production environments. During my downtime I work to bring my own features to life and to be trusted to manage the vision of others - like directing Stephen King's The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. The chances of successfully selling a screenplay are minimal but when did creativity ever listen to logic?
I write and produce amazing commercials and compelling stories. I also have other creative goals and thoughts about writing, women in production, relationships and struggling for good. Curious as to how this dog hunts? Feel free to journey down the rabbit hole ...
Daddy's favorite verse - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
