Hi, I'm Andrea. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Here's my confession...

 

As a production director in Las Vegas, Nevada, I help  create story and love the organized chaos of production environments. I also appreciate the power of writing for TV, film and advertising. My dream is to one day bring Stephen King's The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon to the big screen (for those who'll swear they don't have time to read, make it bathroom material. Two hundred nineteen pages, what's that - five visits?). 

 

After switching gears as a researcher for the Federal Reserve Bank, I rediscovered my love for story by assisting on a documentary about the surviving victims of a serial killer.  Interest in story and promotion, originating from a childhood desire to become a literary agent, was further strengthened in the creative services department of a television station.  

 

There, a talent for copywriting meshed with my understanding of the impact of budgets in production environments. Placement as a second-rounder in Austin Film Festival anchored my continuing development in screenwriting and content creation. The chances of successfully selling a screenplay are minimal but when did creativity ever listen to logic?
