Hi I'm Andrea. I appreciate the power of writing for TV, film and advertising and believe in supporting those who venture to share their stories.

As a production coordinator I helped create story and loved the organized chaos of production environments. The dream of being trusted to bring my own screenplays to life or direct other visions, like Stephen King's The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon – was a possibility I was content to naively work towards even if possibilities were damn near impossible. When does creativity ever listen to logic?

Growth and progress appeared under control until my spouse became riddled with continuous health scares. A suspicion of Multiple Sclerosis was eventually identified as Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP), a chronic, painful neurological disorder that's fundamentally changed how I approach work and the structure of our lives.  Because there is no cure, we have no choice but to learn how to manage living with a disease health care providers aptly described as Unicorn. Working out the how?

We were willing to struggle with being overwhelmed and figuring out solutions for our loss of momentum and structure to the day.  We received tons of encouragement but what we didn't yet possess was the how and not just the how - the transformative how. Getting to those solutions requires implementing tools, tricks and communication skills based on honesty, time and struggle.  It also requires a continuous rebuilding of resolve and dedication to continue to do the work.

To that end this disease has emboldened my dedication to producing and sharing more stories. Good Girl is about how we're all figuring out the uncomfortable parts, how we're all doing better than we think we are. By simply persevering, we are better. By simply standing, we are good.

I have other thoughts about women in production, relationships and this thing called life. If what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, feel free to journey down the rabbit hole...

Daddy's favorite verse - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
